At their June 30 meeting, Denver City Council passed a bill authorizing the creation of the Denver Union Station Project Authority. The bill reads: "a bill for an ordinance authorizing the creation of a Colorado nonprofit corporation to be known as the Denver Union Station Project Authority for the purpose of financing, acquiring, owning, equipping, designing, constructing, renovating, operating and maintaining the Denver Union Station Project."
